InnerSpace

Geographic Scope: Benton and Washington counties, Northwest Arkansas

What is it? Free space for creative and community-focused events. InnerSpace is available to artists, community groups, and innovators who need physical space to bring their ideas to life.

Venue: The Medium, 214 S. Main Street, Springdale, AR

Award: Free space and hosting at The Medium; all events are free to attendees

Eligible Projects (Examples):

  • Pop-up installations or exhibitions

  • Performance groups rehearsing or presenting new work

  • Workshops or community events

  • Collaborative projects involving multiple creative disciplines
  • Eligibility:

  • Open to anyone 18 years or older living in Benton or Washington counties

  • All experience levels welcome
  • Program Duration: Projects hosted between February and June (annual cycle)

    Selection Process: Fair and transparent lottery system

  • 6 projects selected annually
  • Funder: Committee for Belonging & Bridging (collaborative initiative led by EngageNWA at the Northwest Arkansas Council)

    Program Philosophy: Provides accessible space to test new creative or community-building concepts in a safe and supportive environment. Embodies commitment to radical inclusion and fostering community.
