Overview

Make a SPLASH! Grant Contest Our annual Make a SPLASH! Grant Contest co-hosted with Inside Edge Safety Surfaces is back! This year we’re thrilled to announce TWO chances to win an all-expenses-paid Life Floor safety surface for your splash pad. Our intent with this contest is to uplift communities across the country each year with beautiful splash pad surfacing designs that add increased safety and accessibility for all people. Inclusive Design Award The Inclusive Design Award will be awarded to a splash pad that has demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity or accessibility. Design Options: Grant recipients will have the option of selecting from the following designs, which feature our newest Inlay shapes. Life Floor will adapt the chosen design(s) to the specific size and shape of each recipient’s splash pad. Planks Rectangles Bubbles Geometric Hexagons Sunset Funding The winners will receive Life Floor tiles and installation provided by Inside Edge Safety Surfaces at their splash pad, all expenses paid. The approximate grant value is $50-65k for a 2000 sq ft splash pad. Final value will depend on the size of the project selected.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be municipal entities, JCCs, YMCAs, or other non-profit organizations with splash pads located within the United States.Only facilities that have demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and/or accessibility will be considered for the Inclusive Design AwardAll splash pads must be pre-existing. Each entity may only enter one splash pad.

Ineligibility

Multiple entries are not accepted. Employees of Life Floor, Inside Edge Safety Surfaces, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.The term “immediate family” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
