About Us We are women from all walks of life who have come together to make a collective and significant difference in our community. Impact100 Hunterdon exists to empower women to award large grants that transform lives. Impact100 Hunterdon was established in the Spring of 2023 when the founding Leadership Council of Impact100 Hunterdon, with the support of Binnacle House (a community foundation), built the infrastructure and enlisted the assistance of other amazing women in the community to make the dream of Impact100 Hunterdon a reality. Since its inception, Impact100 Hunterdon is empowering a diverse local group of women of all ages, stages in life, income levels, and backgrounds to come together to fund transformational grants of $100,000 in Hunterdon County. Through collaborative philanthropy, our mission is to build a dynamic and diverse membership of generous women who accelerate positive social change in Hunterdon County. Focus Areas Arts & Culture Cultural programs, participation in the arts, arts educationFamilyStrengthening and enhancing the lives of families and children, including seniors.Education Educational opportunities for children and/or adults, especially those that address lingering educational disparities affecting our communityEnvironment Conservation and preservation of natural resources; environmental justice; parks and recreation; agricultural sustainability; environmental education and climate action.Health & Wellness Improvement of people’s mental and/or physical well-being.Eligibility

Applicants may be denied for any of the following reasons:Request for general operating expenses, rather than project or program-related expensesSeeking funding for anything other than capital projects, significant expansion of or changes to existing programs, and/or new initiativesGeographic Area Outside of Hunterdon County (project must significantly benefit Hunterdon County community)Agency budget of less than $300,000Administrative costs over 25% (based on content contained in a 990 filing)Organization in operation for less than 3 yearsFaith-based groups (exceptions will be considered for those that can demonstrate inclusiveness, regardless of beliefs, and who are committed to not proselytizing to project participants)Politically affiliated groupsKnown terrorists groupsOrganizations without proper 501c3 statusThree consecutive years of net ordinary lossesFunding cannot be fully expended within three yearsIndividual recipients (i.e. scholarships, loans, gifts, etc.)Required documents not includedGrant guidelines not followedRequest is for special events or fundraising activitiesUnwillingness to allow a site visit, if requestedNOTE: If any of these apply to an applicant, they are welcome to write a short explanatory paragraph in their grant submission that addresses the criteria and indicates why their application should still be considered.
