Mission Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is a charitable women’s giving circle dedicated to awarding high impact grants to nonprofits in our community in the areas of Arts, Culture & Preservation; Education; Environment & Animal Welfare; Family; and Health & Wellness. Philosophy Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is a charitable women’s giving circle dedicated to awarding high impact grants to nonprofits in our community. We seek to fund critical needs, new ventures, and innovative ways to solve social problems in order to create a more civil and respectful climate. Focus Areas Each grant applicant must select only one focus area for grant consideration. Impact 100 will not provide guidance on selecting the appropriate focus area. The five Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis focus areas committees will consider projects from nonprofits that examine the following subject areas (although this list is not meant to be comprehensive): Arts, Culture, & PreservationThe arts and culture committee will focus on charitable initiatives that cultivate, develop, educate, preserve, and enrich the theater, museums, both visual and performing arts and literary opportunities in Greater Indianapolis.EducationThe education committee will focus on charitable initiatives that advance learning opportunities and improve education in Greater Indianapolis.Environment & Animal WelfareThe environment committee will focus on charitable initiatives that: improve, enhance or restore the surroundings in the Greater Indianapolis area; encourage research, public awareness and education relating to the environment;promote conservation of our natural resources;restore, preserve, revitalize or enhance recreational facilities, and/or promote animal welfare.FamilyThe family committee will focus on charitable initiatives that strengthen and enhance the lives of children and families in Greater Indianapolis.Health & WellnessThe health and wellness committee will focus on charitable initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical well being of people living in the Greater Indianapolis area.Eligibility

Your organization must meet the following grant criteria to be considered:Be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) or 509(a) public charity.Applicant organizations’ seat of operation must be based in Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks or Boone County in the State of Indiana or a recognized local chapter of a state or national nonprofit serving this region. The program must be implemented and serve residents of these eight counties and all monies must be expended here.The project must be a new program, expansion of an existing program or may be a joint effort of several agencies. Outline a project or program that targets a specific population for a specific duration and with specific measurable goals.Use the full amount of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis’ available grant.Plan to expend the funds within 24 months. Capital projects (equipment and building) must be clearly wrapped around a program or project serving the clients of the organization.An organization may submit only one application each year.An organization that has received an operating grant less than $100,000 may reapply at any time.Ineligibility
Types of programs we will not consider:General operating expenses; debt reduction or operational deficitsEndowments or memorialsBridge funding or interim financingPartisan, political or legislative activitiesGeneral fund drives or annual appealsReligious-focused or university-based projects where the grant is for the principle benefit of the organization’s own members or adherentsPrivate foundationsLegal expensesGeneral advertising/marketing expenses promoting the agencyFundraising activities or eventsAthletic uniforms and sports gearCapital campaigns; proposals must distinguish specific capital items that are wrapped around a programAn organization that has received a grant of $100,000 or more from Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis may not reapply in the following two years.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
