Ian Doane Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund Ian Doane Smith was raised in Maui, was a star HYSO player, and a four-year all-star soccer player at Maui High School. He was also an accomplished Maui big wave surfer and a dedicated youth soccer coach. Ian loved Maui and its young people and following his death in 2004, his family proudly established this memorial scholarship fund to honor his memory and excellence in the two sports Ian loved – surfing and soccer.Eligibility
