About IAGLR The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) is a scientific organization made up of researchers studying the Laurentian Great Lakes, other large lakes of the world, and their watersheds, as well as those with an interest in such research. Our Vision A peaceful world in which large lake ecosystems are valued and healthy; where these ecosystems inspire curiosity, awe, love and respect, and stewardship in all people. Student Travel Award The IAGLR Student Travel Award is designed to promote student member attendance at the annual conference by subsidizing a portion of the costs of travel to and from the meeting. Student participation at the IAGLR conference is integral to the atmosphere of the meeting as well as to students' education. Amount of Award IAGLR Travel Award funds are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The amount awarded to individual students will vary, and are contingent on distance traveled and funds available. Awards range between 25% and 100% of registration costs.Eligibility
