Mission Our mission is to connect people and resources with opportunities that enhance quality of life for all. Grant Purpose: the Foundation has two General Grant Cycles per year open to local charitable entities that provide funding for anything except operational costs. Impact Areas The Huntington County Community Foundation is built to receive grant applications from applicants seeking funding for charitable purposes that will make a positive material difference in Huntington County. The Community Foundation will prioritize local, mission-aligned grants that: Address community challenges and opportunitiesCultivate/maintain community collaborationAdvance investment in our public spaces and under-resourced neighborhoodsMaintain a thriving education system from birth through careerCreate a vibrant arts, culture and storytelling environmentStrive to make Huntington County a more equitable community of choice for allAid in the development of our current and future leaders Other impact areas will also be considered. Project Examples arts & cultural initiatives, life skills workshops, electrical upgrades, leadership programming, child-friendly spaces, fundraising equipment, building expansions.
