HP Apprenticeship Program for Women Entering the Industry

Purpose: Placement and apprenticeship program for women recently entering the film industry.

Program Structure:

  • Two women placed on films or television shows

  • Apprenticeship with experienced professionals in below-the-line crafts

  • Paid living stipend for time spent on set

  • Pre-set orientation meeting with producers and workers
  • Eligible Crafts:

  • Cinematographer

  • Electrician

  • Gaffer

  • Grip

  • Property master

  • Set decorator

  • Production sound mixer

  • Boom operator

  • Utility sound technician
  • Additional Opportunities:
    Selected apprentices invited to work on Ha Phuong's next film or video project
