Our Mission The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is a leader and advocate for strategic philanthropy, partnering with donors to anchor a permanent and growing endowment and making investments in the Mahoning Valley that improve the quality of life for all residents. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation will: Identify and support community based charitable purposes in the areas of arts and culture, education, community well-being, health and human services and other philanthropic interests of its donors Encourage collaborative efforts to bring diverse groups together for the benefit of the community Respond to community needs through philanthropic leadership, commitment, and compassion Demonstrate accountability and integrity in the management of resources Our History To address charitable and philanthropic needs across Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, a public charity, was incorporated in 1999 by five area trust companies and community partners. Hospice Trust of Trumbull County The Hospice Trust of Trumbull County invites proposals, under a competitive grant process, and awards grants to organizations promoting hospice services, hospice care, or hospice education in Trumbull County.Eligibility
