Hospice Trust of Trumbull County Grant Program

Eligible applicants include IRS-recognized public charities and fiscal sponsors, with grants available for programmatic, operational, or capital needs, ensuring that local residents benefit directly from funded initiatives.

The Hospice Trust of Trumbull County invites proposals, under a competitive grant process, and awards grants to organizations promoting hospice services, hospice care, or hospice education in Trumbull County.

Eligibility

Organizations eligible to receive grants from the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley are those determined by the IRS to be public charities. This encompasses most charitable, scientific, social service, educational, and religious organizations described in 501(c)(3) of the tax code, as well as government entities and public schools. Organizations that are not public charities may apply through a fiscal sponsor. Activities proposed by the requesting organization must directly benefit residents of Trumbull county (or the surrounding area). Grants may cover organizations' programmatic, general operating or capital needs.

Ineligibility

In addition, requests from individuals and for activities to influence election campaigns are not eligible while requests for retroactive funding for projects that have been completed or will be completed prior to the grant award date are not typically supported
