Description: The first fully-funded, two-generation scholarship program in the United States. Provides comprehensive postsecondary education support to high school graduates and one parent or guardian.

• Geographic Scope: Toledo, Ohio (Lucas County) - currently serves students from Jesup W. Scott High School

- Postsecondary education access (4-year university, community college, or trade school) - Two-generation family support - Wraparound support services and coaching - Financial literacy, mental health, student life, career counseling, and academic resources

Funding Coverage

• Tuition: Fully covered for 4.5 years
• Room and Board: Fully covered
• Books and Fees: Fully covered
• Support Services: Wraparound coaching and support included

Program Performance Indicators (as of 2022)

• Jesup W. Scott High School saw approximately 70% increase in high school graduates enrolling in postsecondary education
• Cohort One (2020): 43% persistence rate through two years of postsecondary experience
• Cohort Two (2021): 69% persistence rate after one year
• Seven students, including one parent, have graduated from postsecondary institutions/programs
• First graduate (Wakeso Peterson Jr.) completed program at BGSU in 2024

• First-generation college students prioritized
• Low-income and marginalized students
