Application Process

1. Submit Application Materials:
   • Completed application forms
   • Required attachments (see below)
   • Submit to RI Secretariat at: 866 United Nations Plaza, Suite 422, New York, NY 10017
   • OR email to Secretary General: Teuta.Rexhepi@riglobal.org
2. Required Documents:
   • Application-format-2019
   • Budget Template-2019-Summary
   • Letter from RI member confirming relationship
3. Compliance Review:
   • Secretary General acknowledges receipt
   • Checks that all required information is provided including:
   • Project goals and objectives
   • Problems to be addressed
   • Activities to be carried out
   • Identification of possible matching funds for sustainability
   • Consultation with donor on appropriateness of amount requested
   • Letter from RI member confirming relationship
   • Additional documentation may be requested
4. Management Committee Review:
   • Secretary General forwards applications to Management Committee
   • Multi-stage review involving multiple stakeholders
   • Management Committee's decision is final
5. Decision Communication:
   • Secretary General informs all applicants of Management Committee's decision
   • Applicants are notified whether their applications were or were not considered for funding
   • Grant allocation schedule determined on case-by-case basis
