Application Process

1. Submit Application Materials:
- Completed application forms
- Required attachments (see below)
- Submit to RI Secretariat at: 866 United Nations Plaza, Suite 422, New York, NY 10017
- OR email to Secretary General: Teuta.Rexhepi@riglobal.org

2. Required Documents:
- Application-format-2019
- Budget Template-2019-Summary
- Letter from RI member confirming relationship

3. Compliance Review:
- Secretary General acknowledges receipt
- Checks that all required information is provided including:
- Project goals and objectives
- Problems to be addressed
- Activities to be carried out
- Identification of possible matching funds for sustainability
- Consultation with donor on appropriateness of amount requested
- Letter from RI member confirming relationship
- Additional documentation may be requested

4. Management Committee Review:
- Secretary General forwards applications to Management Committee
- Multi-stage review involving multiple stakeholders
- Management Committee's decision is final

5. Decision Communication:
- Secretary General informs all applicants of Management Committee's decision
- Applicants are notified whether their applications were or were not considered for funding
- Grant allocation schedule determined on case-by-case basis
