General Grant Program

Purpose: Fund creative and innovative programs that address the human service needs of Franklin County residents

Geographic Scope: Franklin County, Indiana

Focus Areas:

• Health services
• Human services
• Social services

Eligibility:

• 501(c)(3) tax-exempt agencies
• Agencies providing health or human services to Franklin County residents
• Must be in good standing

Application Period: Annually (historically January through December)

Background: United Way of Franklin County seeks to positively impact the lives of those in the community by assessing needs, uniting partner organizations, agencies and volunteers, and devoting financial resources to the most critical needs.

Application Process

Submission Requirements:

• Return 10 copies of completed application to United Way office
• Submit by designated deadline (historically April 30)

Interview Process:

• Upon receipt of materials, Executive Director will contact applicant to schedule an interview (historically in May)
