FRCC Promise Program

Geographic Scope: Larimer County, Colorado (targeted high schools)

Launch Date: Fall 2025

Focus Areas: First-generation, low-income students; Last-dollar scholarships covering tuition, fees, and books

The FRCC Promise Program is designed to remove financial barriers and ensure students have the resources and support they need to succeed at FRCC. This program provides last-dollar scholarships to cover tuition, fees, and books for first-generation, low-income students from targeted high schools in Larimer County.

Award Coverage:

• Full tuition and fees
• Books and classroom materials
• Wraparound support services, including mentorship and academic coaching

Funding Goal: $100,000 in cash and pledges to establish the fund

Matching Gift Challenge: Active matching gift challenge to support launch

Founding Circle Members: Donors contributing $10,000+ in first year will be recognized as Founding Circle Members

Eligibility Requirements:

• Graduate of a participating Larimer County high school
• Enroll at FRCC within 16 months of high school graduation
• Maintain 2.5 GPA (junior/senior weighted GPA) and 2.0 GPA at FRCC
• Complete FAFSA or CASFA each year
• Stay enrolled full-time and complete at least 24 credits per year
• First-generation student
• Low-income status

• Improve student success

• Create debt-free path to higher education
