Focus Areas: First-generation, low-income students; Last-dollar scholarships covering tuition, fees, and books

Description: The FRCC Promise Program is designed to remove financial barriers and ensure students have the resources and support they need to succeed at FRCC. This program provides last-dollar scholarships to cover tuition, fees, and books for first-generation, low-income students from targeted high schools in Larimer County.

Award Coverage:

Full tuition and fees

Books and classroom materials

Wraparound support services, including mentorship and academic coaching

Funding Goal: $100,000 in cash and pledges to establish the fund

Matching Gift Challenge: Active matching gift challenge to support launch

Founding Circle Members: Donors contributing $10,000+ in first year will be recognized as Founding Circle Members

Eligibility Requirements:

Graduate of a participating Larimer County high school

Enroll at FRCC within 16 months of high school graduation

Maintain 2.5 GPA (junior/senior weighted GPA) and 2.0 GPA at FRCC

Complete FAFSA or CASFA each year

Stay enrolled full-time and complete at least 24 credits per year

First-generation student

Low-income status
