First Ascent Charitable Foundation Grant

The First Ascent Charitable Foundation Grant supports charitable organizations focused on enriching communities through education, business, and environmental sustainability. With a mission to empower women and protect mountain environments, this grant prioritizes initiatives that promote equality and experiential education. Eligible recipients must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, as individual applications are not accepted. The foundation seeks to strengthen local causes in Boulder County and foster a greater appreciation for the outdoors.

Mission Statement: To enrich, educate and better communities through the support of charities and organizations our family is passionate about.
Specific Areas of Focus: To support the development, growth, and achievement of women through education, business and entrepreneurship in order to provide more opportunities and promote greater equality; to protect mountain environments and access to wild places for human-powered activities; to promote experiential education and training in order to increase awareness and appreciation of wild places and support careers in the outdoors and to strengthen our community through the support of local organizations and causes in Boulder County.
