NOTE: Prior to each application period, first-time applicants are required to attend a Pre-Application Meeting. Contact the Foundation for more information and to set up the Pre-Application Meeting in the required time period. If your organization is selected to move forward after submitting an application, an official representative must be present at the predetermined date and time for Pitch Day. The Moniker Foundation Our Competitive Grants Program operates through a regionally focused approach with three, separate funding cycles per year. The three funding cycles are directly correlated to our three priority regions and feature a slightly abbreviated application process, along with the addition of an in-person presentation component that we call Pitch Day. Our funding is broken in three different regions as identified by the Board: High Country Region, Pikes Peak Region, Southwest Region. Pikes Peak Region For this funding cycle, we will award 9 $10,000 grants for a total of $90,000. Please review the sub focus funding areas below. While you may submit a request outside of these sub-focus areas, we will prioritize the listed sub-focus areas first. Health & Human Services Organizations that further support youth and families through: Housing - specifically keeping families housed through emergency support for rent and overall access to housing Access to foodPhysical, mental, and emotional health Education Organizations that further support youth through: Early childhood education in the realm of school readiness and success from PreK to Grade 3.After school programming Literacy programs for school aged childrenTeacher grants the seek to provide additional education experiences and supports for youthEnvironment Organizations that further support the community through: Environmental education Increased access to outdoor spaces for at risk populations Protection and enhancement of parks, trails, and open spaces Arts & Culture Organizations that support the community through: Creating access to arts and cultural opportunitiesArts educationEligibility

The applicant organization must operate within one of the three priority funding regions.Pikes Peak Region Counties Served: El Paso CountyTeller CountyThe applicant organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, or under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.The applicant organization's primary focus area must be one of the following: Arts & Culture; Education; Environment; or Health & Human Services.A maximum of one online funding application per organization may be submitted each program year. If your organization was awarded a Competitive Grant last year, you will need to wait to reapply for funding until January next year.Organizations may apply for the following support types: capital support, general operating support, program support, or project support. We strongly recommend that applicants prioritize critical operating activities at this time and forego any nonessential programming and projects.Ineligibility
