FFW Educational Grants - $2,500 Scholarship Grants

Eligibility

Primary Criteria: Girls and women facing significant challenges in reaching their educational goals

Preference Given To:

  • First-generation college students

  • Non-traditional students/adult learners who are 25 years or older

  • Women who seek a diploma or certification for high demand job functions in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and/or Yates

  • Girls and women who have overcome a significant challenge in their lives

    Organization Background

    Established in 2009, FFW is the first funding stream dedicated solely to helping improve the lives of girls and women residing in the Southern Tier counties. It is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization with an endowment designed to provide sustainable, dependable funding for years to come.
