Program Details
Purpose
Addresses structural challenges that make it difficult for HBCU humanities faculty to take time away from their home institutions to focus on research. The Center previously had only a handful of HBCU faculty participating in its programs.- Residential fellowship at the Center
- Individual research project funding
- Replacement faculty hiring costs at home institutions (funded by the grant)
- Access to the Center's intellectual community and research support infrastructure
