Focus Areas: Financial assistance for families affected by ectodermal dysplasias to attend the NFED National Family Conference

Eligibility:

• Qualifying families in need of financial assistance
• Preference given to families who have not previously attended a conference
• All families needing assistance encouraged to apply

What They Fund:

• Waived registration fees
• Hotel stay reimbursement
• Or a combination of both

Background: The NFED recognizes that attending the National Family Conference can be expensive and offers scholarships to help families participate in this important community event where attendees can meet others affected by ectodermal dysplasia, hear from physicians, and connect with the community.

Application Process

1. Download the Family Conference Scholarship application
2. Complete all required information on the application form
3. Return completed application to NFED office by application deadline
4. Submit by either:
   • Faxing to: 618-566-4718
   • Emailing to: malinda@nfed.org
5. If approved, you will receive an acknowledgement letter with the awarded scholarship amount
6. Do not submit a conference registration form until you receive scholarship confirmation letter

Important Notes:

• Applications must be received by stated deadline to be considered
• Preference given to first-time attendees
• Award decisions typically communicated within specified timeframe
