About Us The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation began in 1992 when a group of community champions came together around a vision to give back to our five-county region then, now, and forever. This vision lives on within our organization today as we continue supporting a variety of community need areas, including youth, arts and culture, education, environment, and health and human services. Our Fall Grants provide funding to support a range of programs and services, including those that focus on education, the environment, youth, seniors, health and human services, and more. This year, we will award fall grants through 19 different endowments that we steward.
