GTRCF Youth Endowment Grant

The GTRCF Youth Endowment Grant offered $147,980 in 2026 for youth programs across five counties in Michigan, with applications due September 15 each year. Organizations can request up to $5,000 per county to support projects that respond to local youth needs. The grant prioritizes innovative initiatives that build developmental opportunities and demonstrate community support. Applications are evaluated by local Youth Advisory Councils, ensuring youth voices play a critical role in the decision-making process.

Our Youth Endowment supports youth causes and organizations across our region. These grants are open to organizations across Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
The total amount available for grants in 2026 is $147,980 or $29,596 per county. Applicants may request funding from one or more counties for up to $5,000 per county.
Grant applications are reviewed by local students from our Youth Advisory Councils, representing all five counties.

Eligibility

Youth Endowment grants are open to: 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, organizations with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor,education institutions, governmental entities Tribal organizations across:
Requests can be for programs, projects, or operational support.Requests should respond to need(s) identified as important by the local youth in our community, as noted in our Youth Needs Assessment and/or our Youth Wellness Initiative report.
