Four Collaborative Learning Strands based on entry points to CS teaching: 1. New teachers that are new to CS 2. New teachers with prior CS experience 3. Experienced teachers that are new to CS 4. Experienced CS teachers- Multi-year participation model allowing teachers to continue growing and refining practice
- Stipends available to compensate teachers for participation time
- Led by local CSTA chapters in each state
- Collaborative learning among CS teachers

Professional Development Provider Application
Professional development providers wishing to lead a strand within the E_CSPD_Wk program should:
1. Submit program proposal to the CSTA Professional Development Committee for review
2. Submit via: csteachers.org/pd
3. Programs must align with:
- CSTA Standards for Computer Science Teachers
- One or more of the four collaborative learning strands
- Focus on teachers working with underrepresented student populations
Teacher Participation
CS teachers can participate by: 1. Monitoring communications from CSTA South Carolina or CSTA Indiana (depending on state) 2. Registering when program details are announced 3. Selecting learning strand based on experience level and needs 4. Attending multi-day professional development event 5. Receiving compensation through available stipendsFocus Areas & Funding Uses
