Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Research Fellowship

  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Enrolled in arts administration graduate program (Master's or PhD) or related fields, OR recent graduate (within 1 year) of said program at time of application

  • Strong interests in EDI issues in arts administration

  • Strong research skills and/or potential to pursue and complete a rigorous project

  • AAAE encourages applications from people of diverse and traditionally underrepresented backgrounds
  • Fellowship Structure:

  • Fellow works under supervision of a Mentor (EDI Liaison of AAAE Board of Directors)

  • Fellow responsible for collecting data and helping create teaching resources for AAAE members on EDI issues

  • Examples of work: constructing annotated EDI-related bibliography for recommended readings; collecting best teaching practices to address EDI issues in arts administration

  • Fellow and Mentor work together remotely in agreed upon schedule and format (e.g., video chat or email)
