Position Details:

Title: Student Representative on AEP Advisory Council

Term: One-year term from June 1 – May 31 (Note: 2021/22 cycle started September 1, 2021)

Role: Full member of advisory council providing guidance and advice

Time Commitment:

- One-hour virtual meetings in December and March
- Travel to AEP's annual convening in September for in-person council meeting and two-day convening
- (Virtual participation options available for some years)

Compensation:

Stipend: $2,000 to offset travel expenses (N/A in years when all events are virtual)

Additional Benefit: Free registration for annual convening

Eligibility Requirements:

Enrolled in arts administration graduate program (Master's or PhD) or related fields, OR recent graduate (within 1 year) of said program at time of application

Strong interests in arts education issues in arts administration

Strong interest in serving AEP's mission and the advisory council objectives
