Encova Foundation of West Virginia Grants

The Encova Foundation of West Virginia is dedicated to improving communities by supporting local causes that align with the values of its associates and policyholders. They focus on health, education, and wellness, emphasizing the importance of children's success. Organizations applying for grants must be U.S.-based and verified as charitable. Preference is given to initiatives impacting health and education, especially those involving Encova associates as active participants.

Eligibility

When an organization applies for a grant through the Encova Foundation of West Virginia, the group must show that the organization is based in the United States and is classified as legitimate through the federal government with a verifiable tax identification number.

Ineligibility

Causes not supported include:Political candidates, committees or organizations.Those not recognized as charitable by the Internal Revenue Service code section 501(c)(3).Organizations that discriminate against people because of age, race, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, military or veteran status, ethnicity or national origin; or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state or local law.Those that serve only their own memberships (such as fraternal, labor, social or religious organizations).
