Purpose: Educates students and prepares them for career opportunities and leadership roles in the pork industry; prepares young adults to become ambassadors for the industry.

- Identify threats facing agriculture and pork industry
- Confidently engage with neighbors and on social media about industry

- Four sessions total: Two in-person, two virtual
- In-person sessions: Mandatory for all participants
- Meeting format: Mixture of in-person and virtual sessions
Ambassador Opportunities
After completing program, participants can:
- Engage with public and share industry story by volunteering at NC State Fair and other events
- Attend program reunion at NC Pork Council annual conference in Raleigh
- Engage with industry professionals at events
