Emergency Relief Fund

Funder: Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC)

Geographic Scope: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington counties in Minnesota

Funding Amount: $500

Applicant Type: Individual artists

Purpose: Provides short-term, rapid relief to artists facing unexpected lost income or expenses due to personal/professional emergencies or natural disasters.

    Priority Communities

    MRAC sets aside a portion of funds to support:
  • Black, Indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC)
  • People with disabilities
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ+) individuals
  • All applicants from Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Scott, and Washington counties
