Emerge Grant

The Emerge Grant, established by the Jeannette Rankin Foundation, supports women and nonbinary individuals aged 25 and older from Georgia and Montana. With grants up to $2,500 annually, recipients can pursue technical, vocational, or degree programs at accredited U.S. institutions. This initiative, rooted in Rankin's legacy, aims to empower those demonstrating financial need. Applicants will be informed about their status, ensuring transparency in the selection process.

Jeannette Rankin had strong geographical ties to both Montana and Georgia as the first female Congresswoman representing Montana and a long-time Georgia resident. From the sale of her Georgia estate, the Jeannette Rankin Foundation was formed in 1976. Today our unrestricted non-tuition Emerge Grant is dedicated to women and nonbinary residents of Georgia and Montana who are 25 and older, demonstrate financial need, and are pursuing a technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree or a first bachelor’s degree at an accredited U.S. institution. Emerge Grants are up to $2,500 annually, distributed directly to recipients and renewable for up to five years.
Only a select number of applicants will be chosen as grant recipients. All applicants will be contacted in regards to your application status whether you have been chosen as a recipient or not.
