The Foundation for Enhancing Communities The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) is a community foundation serving South Central Pennsylvania with a mission to inspire giving, partner with donors to achieve their charitable goals, and strengthen local communities for current and future generations. Guided by core values of inclusion, stewardship, endurance, and integrity, TFEC invests in a broad range of community needs through grantmaking, donor-advised funds, nonprofit services, and regional initiatives. Its funding priorities include early childhood education, women and girls’ well-being, arts and culture, community development, health and human services, and other programs that advance equity and long-term community impact. EITC Opportunity Scholarship This scholarship provides opportunities to students residing in a district of one of the lowest 15% achieving schools as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to receive funding to attend an out-of-district or private elementary, middle, or high school within Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, and Perry counties, and the Dillsburg Area.

Resident of Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, or Perry county Student lives in the district of one of the low achieving schools listed below Household income may not exceed $116,055 plus $20,428 for each dependent member of the householdPreference will be given to students who received scholarship funding for the previous academic year in accordance with PA Department of Community & Economic Development program guidelines. A student with a disability will be considered eligible if they meet the following criteria: Enrolled in a special education school or identified as a “Child with a disability” Needs special education and related services Member of a household who’s income doesn’t exceed maximum annual income
