Dorothy and Edwin Liu Scholarship Fund Grant

The Dorothy and Edwin Liu Scholarship Fund, established by Frances Liu, aims to support higher education for students in Hawaii, particularly female graduates of Hilo High School. Eligible recipients must demonstrate financial need, maintain a GPA of 2.0, and be of Asian descent if they are reapplying. The fund prioritizes students attending the University of Hawaii, Manoa or Hilo, ensuring continued support for those in good academic standing.

NOTE: The Application deadline is represented by the Pre proposal deadline. The Letters of Recommendation deadline is represented by the Full Proposal deadline.
The scholarship was created by Frances Liu to provide scholarship grants to students for higher education.

Eligibility

HCF Criteria:

• Be a resident of the State of Hawaii
• Demonstrate financial need
• Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.0
• Donor Criteria:
• Be a Hilo High School graduate
• Be a female
