Overview
'Local community members, from teachers and childcare workers to veterans and government staff, may qualify for savings of up to $10,000 on a single residential project.' CORE awarded nearly $1.42 million in grants and rebates in the first half of 2026 across 130 projects (120 residential, 10 commercial) in Pitkin, Eagle and Garfield counties, supporting 85 cold-climate heat pump projects and directing 60% of incentive funding to Community Priority Participants. Because these incentives depend on private donations, 'CORE reduced residential rebate caps by 50% beginning July 17'; projects in the Town of Basalt and throughout Pitkin County continue to qualify for full rebate amounts.
