    Continuing Education Scholarship Application Process

    Required Materials:

    2. Student information:
    - Full name
    - Date of birth and age
    - Parent/legal guardian name as it appears on RGEC electric bill
    - RGEC account number
    - Address
    - Phone number
    - Email (personal, non-school address for correspondence)
    - Type of institution (college/university or vocational/trade school)
    - Name of college/university/vocational school
    - Student ID number
    - Field of study or major
    - Estimated completion date
    - GPA (3.0 minimum required)

    3. Official academic transcript:
    - Must be sent electronically to sede@rgec.coop OR by mail directly from your institution
    - MUST be received by RGEC by the scholarship deadline for application to be considered

    4. Essay responses (anonymized - must not include family names, specific locations, or identifying information):
    - About yourself (hobbies, volunteer work, organizations)
    - Why you are applying for this scholarship
    - How you hope to use your education to benefit rural America
    - Which of the 7 Cooperative Principles is most important and why

    5. Applicant photo (required)
    - High resolution file
    - School photo preferred
    - Max file size: 256 MB

    6. Applicant consent and acknowledgments:
    - Certification that work is original and not plagiarized
    - Agreement that photo may be posted in magazines, newspapers, RGEC website, and social media
