Community College Access Program (CCAP)

Virginia Western's Community College Access Program (CCAP) is a series of public/private partnerships designed to make college available tuition-free to area high school graduates who meet program guidelines.

Award Amount: Covers the cost of up to three years of full-time tuition at Virginia Western Community College.

Geographic Scope: Serves the entire Virginia Western service region, including:

• Counties: Botetourt, Craig, Franklin, and Roanoke
• Cities: Roanoke and Salem

Program Focus:

• Making college accessible and affordable
• Supporting area high school graduates
• Supporting as many students as possible based on student need and funds available

Key Initiative: The Educational Foundation is engaged in a renewed CCAP2 Campaign to grow and enhance the program and its benefits.
