Community Assistance Grants

Funder: The Junior League of Houston, Inc.

Geographic Scope: Greater Houston community

Purpose: The Junior League provides financial support to organizations in the greater Houston community that do not currently receive volunteer support from the League.

Focus Areas:

  • Family Basic Needs

  • Children and Women's Health and Well-Being
  • Eligible Projects: Requests that address:

  • A critical or basic need

  • Fund a pilot program

  • Expand a significant service to the community
  • Evaluation: The Community Assistance Committee evaluates grant applications for projects and makes funding recommendations to the League's Board of Directors for consideration.
