State Fair of Texas: Grant

The State Fair of Texas offers grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to support nonprofit organizations in the South Dallas/Fair Park community. This initiative aims to foster economic development, capacity building, educational programming, and social justice. Organizations within a ten-mile radius of the Fair are encouraged to apply, and collaboration with local entities is essential for favorable consideration. Interested applicants should choose between applying for a grant or a sponsorship within the same year.

In order to extend our hand to the members of our community that are bringing about positive change, the State Fair of Texas offers grants and sponsorships to local nonprofit organizations at specific times throughout the year.

Eligibility

We support initiatives that are working in the aforementioned areas in 75210, 75215, 75223, and 75228 with some limited support for work in the Southern Sector of Dallas that impacts residents in the South Dallas/Fair Park neighborhood. Organizations within a ten mile radius of the Fair can apply.Collaboration is essential.  Please ensure that you are working with organizations and entities in our area.Organizations cannot receive funding for a grant and sponsorship in the same year, so determine if you will apply for a grant OR a sponsorship and complete the form for one, not both.

Ineligibility

Applications that do not demonstrate existing relationships with local entities are not favorably reviewed.

Nonprofit organizations within a ten-mile radius of Fair Park, with priority for the South Dallas/Fair Park community (zip codes 75210, 75215, 75223, 75228); must show collaboration with local entities; cannot receive both a grant and a sponsorship in the same year.
