CNL Charitable Foundation Grants

The CNL Charitable Foundation Grants, initiated by CNL Financial Group founder Jim Seneff, aim to enhance community well-being in Central Florida. These grants support 501(c)(3) charities and government institutions, focusing on education, leadership and entrepreneurship, arts and culture, and homelessness and poverty. With a commitment to community transformation, CNL prioritizes organizations that foster broad funding and engage CNL associates, reflecting a dedication to sustainable and impactful philanthropic efforts.

Seneff, Jr. took a $5,000 loan from his father and began his own business by buying real estate in downtown Orlando for less than $3 a square foot. Since its inception, CNL and/or its affiliates have formed or acquired companies with more than $34 billion in assets, and have raised more than $19 billion in private and public offerings through the broker-dealer and institutional investment communities.

The CNL Charitable Foundation awards grants to organizations that have been approved by the IRS as 501(c)(3) charities and government institutions, such as schools and libraries.
