Overview

Overview

**PURPOSE
**Northwest Minnesota Foundation has been aggressively bolstering and improving the opportunities for child care professionals to be successful. Many challenges over the past few years have increased the need to lend supportive services to child care providers and early educators as they make up the backbone of our economic success within our rural communities.

Northwest Minnesota Foundation leads and supports collaborative efforts throughout our region to find innovative, sustainable solutions to help solve the unique concerns for the young children and families who are an important part of our community. As our regional needs of this support continue, we will assist early educators with financial and capital needs through flexible grant products. Better lives are built when our children are provided quality care and the educational opportunities they need for age-appropriate development.

Our goal is to help develop a plan that meets the needs of developing children. We are supporting early care and childhood education programs for carrying out these quality services for our region’s young children and their families.
