Purpose: Awards related to Child Development Associate (CDA) credential programs

Program supporting early educators in obtaining and completing the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Child Care Aware of Minnesota offers CDA learning through Eager-to-Learn (ETL) with both instructor-led online courses and hybrid models.

• Early childhood professional development
• Workforce credentialing

Application Process

CDA Program Options:

1. Instructor-Led Online Course: Scheduled chat times with instructors plus portfolio assignments outside scheduled times
2. Hybrid Model: Live virtual components via Zoom, text-based learning, and portfolio assignments

What's Included:

• All 120 hours of required training in eight subject areas
• Guidance in completing other CDA requirements including professional portfolio
• Clear, complete information about expectations

Support Provided:

• Technology support with video tutorials
• Customer support team responding within one business day
• Administrator support including CDA competency books and automatic credit verification
