Overview: Program supporting early educators in obtaining and completing the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Child Care Aware of Minnesota offers CDA learning through Eager-to-Learn (ETL) with both instructor-led online courses and hybrid models.

    Application Process

    CDA Program Options:

    1. Instructor-Led Online Course: Scheduled chat times with instructors plus portfolio assignments outside scheduled times
    2. Hybrid Model: Live virtual components via Zoom, text-based learning, and portfolio assignments

    What's Included:

  • All 120 hours of required training in eight subject areas

  • Guidance in completing other CDA requirements including professional portfolio

  • Clear, complete information about expectations

  • Technology support with video tutorials
