Overview

Overview

_NOTE: We are no longer accepting Letter of Intent (LOI) applications for the 2025 Community Benefit Investment (CBI) process._

Our Mission

To extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those in need, especially people who are poor, dying and underserved.

Our Vision

Inspired by God’s hope for the world, we will be a ministry where associates want to work, clinicians want to practice, people seek wellness and communities thrive.

Our Values

Human Dignity: We commit to uphold the sacredness of life and to be respectful and inclusive of everyone.

* Integrity: We commit to act ethically and to model right relationships in all of our individual and organizational encounters.

* Compassion: We commit to accompany those we serve with mercy and tenderness, recognizing that “being with” is as important as “doing for.”
* Stewardship: We commit to promote the responsible use of all human and financial resources, including Earth itself.
* Service: We commit to provide the highest quality in every dimension of our ministry.
* Catholic Identity: Bon Secours Mercy Health’s Catholic health care heritage is directly linked to women religious who, in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, began ministries dedicated to serving people who are poor, underserved and dying. It is in furthering their legacies that we embrace our calling to extend Jesus healing ministry through compassion and service. In the communities served by Bon Secours Mercy Health, we extend almost $2 million each day in care and programs to individuals and in support of entire communities. Our mission is extending the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those in need, especially people who are poor, dying and underserved.

Partnership Requests

Our purpose is to build healthier individuals, families, and neighborhoods in order to offset the negative effects of the social determinants of health. We do so using asset based community development principles, public health principles, and collaborations that build scale, high quality community-level clinical services, and high impact social investments.

Community Benefit Investments

The process will consist of one round that will begin with the completion of an application called a Letter of Intent. Bon Secours will evaluate your Letter of Intent and invite a full proposal for those which hold promise in light of our strategy and process changes. This is a once a year application process. Please consider the following key priorities to confirm your program is in alignment before applying:

* Improve health indicators as detailed in the Community Health Needs Assessment.
* Enhance community and neighborhood livability
* Leverage resources with other local, regional and national organizations to increase the scale of impact and the effectiveness of outcomes
* Address the social determinants of health through innovative collaborations
