About Us The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) is the professional home for more than 2,000 students, teachers, and practitioners of the anatomical sciences. The Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award Presented to a member who creates inclusive teams representing the rich diversity of communities served. Nominations for this award will document initiatives undertaken that cultivate, promote, and foster a more diverse, equitable, and/or inclusive environment; and will demonstrate the impacts of outcomes from DEI initiatives. Funding $1,000 honorarium and $1,000 for travel to Annual Meeting to receive the award

Criteria:Must be a current member with at least one (1) year of membership Materials submitted by Nominator: Nomination letter: should describe the nominee’s approach to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and the impact of their effortsMaterials submitted by Nominee:Nominee’s CV or NIH-style biosketch (not to exceed 10 pages) Three (3) letters of support (not to exceed 500 words each), one of whom must be a AAA memberReviewed by the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.
