Baltimore Community Events Grants

The Community Events Grant (funded through the Baltimore Tourism Improvement District, administered by Visit Baltimore/DMC) provides up to $15,000 per applicant, with no match required, to nonprofits, community groups, businesses, and event organizers based in Baltimore City. Funds must be used exclusively for marketing/promotion of a multi-day event that drives paid hotel room nights and economic impact (no operational costs); 50% paid on approval, 50% after an approved post-event report. Applications accepted on a rolling basis through May 1, 2027 (for FY2027 events), and must be submitted at least eight weeks before the event. FLAG: preference given to events highlighting diversity/equity/inclusion; single-day events ineligible.

Baltimore City-based organizations and event organizers apply online (with a W-9 and event budget summary) at least 8 weeks before a multi-day event, rolling through May 1, 2027; see baltimore.org/community-events-grants.
