Arts, Enrichment & Innovation Grants

Bellevue Schools Foundation offers school-based grants to teachers and staff to enhance the education experience for their students and provide opportunities for innovation in the classroom.

Purpose: This competitive grant program funds innovative projects that:

• Extend the regular curriculum
• Encourage higher-level thinking skills
• Enrich students through art, music, culture, science, or other activities
• Provide field trip opportunities
• Support innovation in classrooms

Geographic Scope: Bellevue School District (WA)

Eligible Applicants:

• Classroom teachers
• School staff
• Students (in some cases)

Focus Areas:

• Arts and music (including instruments and professional clinicians)
• STEM and curriculum enrichment
• Innovative initiatives
• Field trips and experiential learning
• Cultural enrichment
• Science activities

Special Considerations:

• Foundation encourages partnerships with colleagues in Bellevue's Title 1 (low-income) schools to bring arts, enrichment, and innovation to children who may not have access to these experiences outside of school
• Music grants, previously awarded separately, are now incorporated into this program
• Over $2.3 Million has been invested to date in Arts, Enrichment & Innovation Grants
