ARS Resident Research Grant

The ARS Resident Research Grant aims to foster innovative research in rhinology, supporting residents engaged in basic, translational, or clinical projects. Applicants must collaborate with a preceptor and obtain departmental approval. Eligible residents in U.S. or Canadian programs can apply, ensuring that their projects align with the standards of the American Rhinologic Society. This grant does not cover salary for the Principal Investigator but allows funding for assistants.

The purpose of this award is to support basic, translational, or clinical research projects in rhinology.
Conditions
Proposed projects may be related to any area of rhinology. Proposed projects shall be designed in collaboration with a preceptor investigator and approved by the candidate's department chairperson and institution.

Eligibility

Any resident in training in an approved program in the U.S. or Canada is eligible to apply for the American Rhinologic Society Resident Research Grant. Resident applicants must have as a co- investigator a supervising faculty who is a member in good standing in the American Rhinologic Society (ARS).

Ineligibility

Funding may not be used for salary support for the Principal Investigator; however, up to 50% of the total budget may be requested to support assistants or other technical personnel. Applications submitted by ineligible PIs will NOT be reviewed by the CORE Study Section.
