Alma White - Delta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship Grant

The Alma White - Delta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship honors the legacy of a dedicated educator in Hawai'i. Established by the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, this scholarship aims to support future generations of students pursuing careers in teaching. Eligible applicants must demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, and be residents of Hawai'i. Preference is given to recipients reapplying who continue to meet the criteria and maintain good academic standing.

NOTE: The Application deadline is represented by the Pre proposal deadline. The Letters of Recommendation deadline is represented by the Full Proposal deadline.
Alma White was a long-time teacher and principal in Hawai'i. Upon her passing, she left a great part of her assets to the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Delta Chapter, of which she was a member. The Society is an educational society dedicated to the advancement of women educators. The Chapter members established this scholarship which will enable future generations of Hawai'i students to pursue teaching as their life's calling.

• Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0Donor Criteria:

• Major in Education
• Pursue an undergraduate or Graduate degree
