    Funding Limits by County

  • Chenango County: $25,000 maximum
  • Delaware County: $5,000 maximum
  • Otsego County: $10,000 maximum
  • Madison County: $10,000 maximum
  • Minimum Request: $2,500 for all applicants

    Eligibility

  • Nonprofit organizations in the four-county region
  • Must align with United Way's impact and priority areas
  • No "member agencies" or entitlement funds—all grants are competitive and objective

    Evaluation Process

  • Applications reviewed by panels comprised of United Way Board members and trained community representatives/volunteers
  • Scoring based on rubric reflecting community needs research
  • For returning funded partners: formula considers RFP review scores plus previous mid-year and final report scores
  • Decision based on research detailing greatest community needs

Expected Outcomes

Applicants must demonstrate measurable positive change in the community beyond outputs (direct services delivered). Focus on longer-term outcomes in knowledge, behavior, skills, or condition of people served.

- LOGIN HERE if you already have credentials
- RESET YOUR PASSWORD if needed

2. Account Access
- Keep username and password handy
- Account continues to be used for agency reporting and future applications
- Be sure to LOGOUT once you've saved draft or submitted

#### Application Submission Process
1. Log in to the online application system
2. Follow prompts to complete the application
3. Save frequently by clicking "SAVE DRAFT" to return and complete later
4. Only one person at a time can enter data
5. Do not leave any blanks—enter N/A if not applicable
6. Click "SUBMIT" when completed
- You will not be able to access completed submission
- You will receive a copy of your submission via email

  • Request must be between $2,500 (minimum) and county maximum

  • Demonstrate clear alignment with impact and priority areas
