Aaron Worley Scholarship Grant

The Aaron Worley Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides a $1,000 award to a deserving senior student from Howard County High Schools. This scholarship aims to honor Aaron Worley by recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics, and sportsmanship. Eligible applicants must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 and plan to pursue higher education or vocational training.

Community Foundation of Howard County
The Community Foundation of Howard County (CFHC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity with the goal of improving the quality of life in Howard County, primarily through endowment building and coordinated grant-making services.
Scholarships
The Community Foundation of Howard County works with local philanthropists to provide scholarships to Howard County students who show exceptional promise. Each scholarship is uniquely designed to meet the donors eligibility requirements.
A $1,000 scholarship is available to a Howard County High School student currently in their senior year, with a strong commitment to community involvement, academics and sportsmanship. This scholarship is offered in memory of and to honor Aaron Worley.

Eligibility

Attend High School in Howard County, Maryland;
Plan to attend a two‐ or four‐year college/university or trade school; and,
Have an unweighted 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average through Grade 11. In addition, an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher must be maintained through the first semester of Grade 12.
