Freeman K. Hill Teen Scholarship Grant

The Freeman K. Hill Teen Scholarship, offered by the Community Foundation of Howard County, provides a $1,500 award to a senior student in Howard County. Eligible students must demonstrate their religious faith through good citizenship, community service, and academic excellence, maintaining an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher through Grade 12. This scholarship supports students planning to attend college or trade school, fostering their educational and personal growth.

Community Foundation of Howard County
The Community Foundation of Howard County (CFHC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity with the goal of improving the quality of life in Howard County, primarily through endowment building and coordinated grant-making services.
Scholarships
The Community Foundation of Howard County works with local philanthropists to provide scholarships to Howard County students who show exceptional promise. Each scholarship is uniquely designed to meet the donors eligibility requirements.
A $1,500 scholarship is available to a Howard County senior student that demonstrates his or her religious faith through good citizenship, service to others and the community, and academic achievement.

Eligibility

Attend High School in Howard County, Maryland;
Plan to attend a two- or four-year college/university or trade school; and
Have an unweighted 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average through Grade 11. In addition an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher must be maintained through the first semester of Grade 12.
