Community Foundation of Howard County The Community Foundation of Howard County (CFHC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity with the goal of improving the quality of life in Howard County, primarily through endowment building and coordinated grant-making services. Scholarships The Community Foundation of Howard County works with local philanthropists to provide scholarships to Howard County students who show exceptional promise. Each scholarship is uniquely designed to meet the donors eligibility requirements. Wilbon H. and Mary J. Pulliam Scholarship This $1,000 scholarship is available to a Howard County High School student currently in their senior year. This scholarship is offered in memory of Wilbon H. and Mary J. Pulliam by their daughter, Megan Pulliam.

Eligibility

Attend High School in Howard County, Maryland; Plan to attend a two‐ or four‐year college/university or trade school in Maryland; and, Have an unweighted 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average through Grade 11. In addition, an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher must be maintained through the first semester of Grade 12.
