Overview

The purpose of this program is to assist the TEA Emergent Bilingual Support Division in leading statewide efforts to support school systems in implementing effective parent/family/community engagement activities that lead to empowering families of emergent bilingual (EB) students. The grantee will leverage TEA developed family-focused resources to provide statewide in-person and virtual trainings to educators and families of EB students. Through technical assistance to school systems, school systems will be able to strengthen internal systems of how schools engage families in instructional decisions that impact EB students.
