Special Populations Diagnostic - Content Support Grant

The Special Populations Diagnostic - Content Support Grant, funded by the Texas Education Agency, aims to enhance diagnostic tools for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to evaluate and improve their special education systems. By developing resources like rubrics and interview templates, the project seeks to empower LEA leaders to identify areas needing support, ultimately leading to better outcomes for students with disabilities.

This project supports the development, testing, and refinement of diagnostic tools such as rubrics, interview templates, and data crosswalks that Local Education Agencies (LEAs) use to assess the overall health of their special education system to support improved outcomes for students with disabilities. The goal of this project is for LEA leaders to use the tools created through this project to identify and strengthen areas of need within their special education system, leading to improved outcomes for students.
