Vicksburg's United Way to receive literacy grant - Vicksburg Daily NewsIn partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis and the City of Memphis, United Way of the Mid-South launched MemphisCares, a community fund to support families experiencing food insecurity. The initiative was created in response to federal SNAP benefit suspensions affecting approximately 167,000 Memphis and Shelby County residents.
